Kika's obituary

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of  our Mother Lydia "Kika" Diehl. Kika, a loving , gentle soul, and an extraordinary woman, left us on April 27, 2026, having been born on November 5, 1992. She will forever be remembered as a beacon of kindness, witty, creative, and intelligent. Her adventurous spirit made her well-traveled, enriching her wisdom and enhancing her captivate storytelling.

A Rosary service to celebrate Kika's life will be held on May 13, 2026, at 9:30am, following a MASS in Church. There will be a hall rented out afterwards and lunch provided to celebrate Mom after. This will take place at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, where family and friends are invited to share their cherished memories of Kika and say their goodbyes. Her loss leaves a profound void, but her memory continues to shine brightly in the hearts of those he touched.

Kika's life lessons and wisdom continue to inspire those who knew her. She strongly advocated for nonjudgmental acceptance of everyone and welcomed all with open arms. Her charisma and humor touched everyone she interacted with, and it is these qualities that will be deeply missed.

In addition to her human family, Kika will be missed by her beloved dogs, Bouje and Ollie. The bond they shared was a testament to Kika's compassionate nature and love for all creatures great and small. In Kika's honor, remember to embrace life with a compassionate heart, a keen mind, and a kind soul, just as she did.
