Luna's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Luna "Lou Lou" Hale, who left us too soon on June 20, 2023. Born on March 12, 2019, Luna, also affectionately known as Lou Lou, brought joy and light into the lives of those who knew her.
She is survived by her loving family; sisters, Zoe Hale, and brothers, Nolan Hale, her mother Ashley Hale and father Ian Hale. She was predeceased by her grandmother Nan Hoyt, her grandfather whom she lovingly referred to as grand dad, and a family member Ringo Hale.
Luna lived her life to the fullest. Her love for cookie bones and popcorn was only surpassed by her love for music. She enjoyed the sounds of The Smashing Pumpkins and "The Dark Side of the Moon". In her free time, she loved playing fetch with her toys, chasing squirrels and birds. Her favourite local spot was the serene Bowmanville Creek, and she was fond of all colours of the rainbow.
Luna was affectionately loyal, empathetic, energetic, and playful. Her greatest accomplishment, which she held with pride, was catching a bird in the backyard. But above all, Luna taught us about the feeling of unconditional love. Her legacy - a testament of love, peace, and strength - will always remain in our hearts.
Her absence has left an empty space, and a pain that won't go away. In her memory, a fund has been set up for the "German Shepherd Dog Club of Canada Inc." Donations can be made at https://everloved.com/life-of…. Luna was not just a pet, but a faithful friend and companion whose energy would fill every room. Now, we find solace in the thought of her roaming endless fields, forever free to run.
Rest well, Luna. Your playful spirit and loving nature will forever be missed.
