Luis's obituary

Luis Osvaldo Tedesco, a passionate artist and lifelong creative, passed away on May 17, 2025, at the age of 69.

Born on June 15, 1955, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Luis was one of six siblings and the father of three children. After immigrating to the United States at a young age, he built a life shaped by creativity, curiosity, and a wide range of personal interests.

Luis spent much of his career working for Llacsa Airlines, but his true passions lived outside the office. He was a self-taught artist whose talents ranged from intricate doodles to elaborate paintings for friends and family. His love for music was boundless, and his impressive collection of records and CDs spanned genres and decades. Many remember him as the person who took them to their very first concert, sparking a lifelong appreciation for live music.

Luis had a flair for the unconventional. A proud New York Jets fan in a Miami zip code, he embraced his quirks unapologetically. His interests spanned aviation, fresh and saltwater fishing, acoustic and electric guitars, cooking, steampunk, Formula 1 racing, world history documentaries, and all things creative. While this list is not all-encompassing, his passions weren’t just hobbies—they were ways he connected with others and expressed his perspective on the world.

Although he rarely traveled far, his imagination took him everywhere. He had a knack for forging deep, if sometimes complicated, connections—whether through online forums, fellow fans of his art, or people he met locally.

Luis is survived by his three children, five siblings, extended family, and countless friends and acquaintances who each knew a different side of him—some joyful, some frustrating, but always unique. He will be remembered for his artistic spirit, deep well of knowledge, and the singular mark he left on everyone he encountered.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
