Luis's obituary
He was born in Washington D.C to Sybil Hough-Ortiz and Luis Diaz on February 20, 1989. He attended Francis L. Cardozo high school, and later attended vocational school. While at Cardozo, he met His high school sweet heart and together they welcomed one baby girl
Luis loved old school music and dancing, cleaning was his favorite hobby, and making others laugh until they cried was his special talent. He could recite any given Michael Jackson song better than Michael himself and could make anyone jealous the way he could easily moonwalk and sweep simultaneously. He told the best stories and possessed an uncanny ability to act; He was a one man show, able to easily switch in between characters with a multitude of accents and pitches to really relay his stories. In addition to bringing a smile to someone’s face he really loved rescuing animals. There was Apollo the junkyard Dog, Daffy the duck who imprinted on him, and Mario the parrot that turned out to be a Maria.
Our dearly departed Luis would ask that you enjoy your life to its maximum extent. Appreciate the rainy days just as much as the sunny days. Express yourself. Laugh until your stomach aches. Cry if you need to. And be kind with yourself.
Luis is survived by His Daughter, Mother, Brothers and Sisters, Grandmother, great aunts and uncles, aunt and uncle, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
