Thank u for caring 4 me when I was very sick. Could never repay the way u took me in. U helped me grow n forget n forgive old memories n focus on what's important in life. Your love for challenging yourself gave u a love for martial arts. Namely wing Chun but you were well versed in numerous forms. We would spend hours watching Lee, caradine, yen, Jackie n all the legends but no Statham lol( mom thought he was cute n so he was banned lol). He had 5 students he trained 3 times a week for awhile. U helped motivate your grandson to get into martial arts as well. Im so glad we got to spend your last birthday with u. I know u only got step child but I'm so grateful to b one! I'll live each day a little more 4 you. Luv u n I'll keep your memory alive always brother

As I was on my way to say Goodbye to you, I saw the most  perfect, amazing, breath taking rainbow. All of Tulsa was talking about this rainbow.  Even tho I was in a hurry, I stopped to take a video. The date was 6/3/25 @ 8:ish pm.  Little did I know that at that same time you were taking your last breath, and you would be face to face with the God who paints those rainbows in the sky.

That's a memory I will never forget!!

Everytime I see a rainbow, I will think of you, my sweet Luis.

God, our heavenly father came himself and discharged you from room #7, 5th floor of ICU and he took you to your mansion in the sky.

BE FREE my sweet Luis, to walk, to eat, to breathe, to sing in the Angels choir, and to Love what you Love.

Since you had a passion for music, I picked some songs for you.

Every time Uncle Luis stayed with us, he spent time either teaching our girls fighting lessons or beating them in checkers, and Paper, Rock, Scissors.... It was always fun watching them chuckle together. We miss his tough love, his Sag-nasty that was with him always and yes, even our deep conversations, when his spirit quieted down and he was Just Uncle Luis. God's grace be with you Uncle Luis. Until We meet again, in heaven.... Love, Pete, Mer and the girls.
Luis was such a kind and giving person. He and Aunt Patty took me to see Delilah and Leo to Norman to visit one year for the 4th of July, he was so patient and accommodating. He was also very passionate about his Martial Arts, I could see how happy he was talking about it and his students It would bring him such joy. One year for Christmas he and Aunt Patty came over and decorated our entire home and the outside as well with all of these very beautiful and ornate Christmas decorations... This was no easy task and was truly a labor of love. Mom and I appreciated this so very much. I appreciate Luis for all he did for myself and my mother as well. He will be greatly missed ❤️🙏
I remember watching all of my favorite horror movies with uncle Luis first. I remember him and aunt Cindy coming over to ma & dad’s with coffee cake at 10pm, 11pm, night time hours and we’d all get up and out of bed and make coffee and put a movie on and eat cake. I remember he always had candy on him to give out to all us kids. Praying for healing and peace for the whole family. Love you, Tio.

Sending peace, light and love. Uncle Luis was a large part of my upbringing and I learned how to use nunchucks properly with him. ❤️.  He also brought great comfort to my sister Arthrina in her times of need. Thinking of you all.
I always loved going to Uncle Luis’ house for visits-especially around Halloween and seeing all the decorations. To me, he was fun and strong-a perfect combination. I will be forever thankful for how Uncle Luis and Aunt Cindi cared my sister, Arthrina(Chopper).  They helped her so much during her college years in Ypsilanti and formed a special bond. That bond showed through when after many years of being away-Uncle Luis flew right to Michigan to be there for Chopper when she got sick. I was just learning how to wax eyebrows at the time and Uncle Luis was a willing participant. I did one eyebrow and it looked great! Then for some reason-when my other sister Cece(who had no training!) asked to do his other eyebrow-he said Yes! Well she ended up nearly taking half that eyebrow off! We were cracking up laughing but also scared to see his reaction. He looked in the mirror and said it looks good! Now if he actually thought it looked good we will never know! But that was a great memory I will always cherish!
