We mournfully announce the passing of Lugenia Evelyn Exum, 80, of Garner, NC. Lugenia ("Jean" as she was affectionately known) passed away on December 28, 2022, after a hard fought battle with heart disease,diabetes and Alzheimers.
Jean, born to the late Bennie Exum and Catherine Staton Exum, took her first breath on September 08, 1942 . Jean was a force to be reckoned with from the get go, graduating from Phillips High School in 1959 …
