Lucy was like a grandma to me, I met her through transport as being her lucky EMT. She told me so many great stories and even recipes that I will never forget. She made work fun and i looked forward to seeing her. Even though Lucy had memory issues I managed to teach her my name and I would ask her every time I seen her “what is my name Lucy”? And she would reply, Samantha with her tagalog accent. We would cruise through the bumps on the freeways to hear her laugh on our way to her weekly dialysis and she always was always so happy and positive. She would asks me everyday if it was raining lol and to me those little moments I hold close to my heart. To this day I tell people about Lucy and I hope she is watching over us with her husband happy and at peace❤️

my deepest condolences and love is with you and your family during this difficult time, Lorna. she is always with you and she is proud of the person you are. May her soul rest in eternal peace and may she always guide you especially when times are rough. I love you, Lorna! I’m here if you need anything 💟  take care of yourself and may your family find strength through this💜💜💜

Our beloved Lucy was the ultimate friend and neighbor to me and my children who grew up to be recepients of her beautiful soul, her loveliness, kindness, humor, intelligence, creativity,  neighborliness, and love of learning and family.

Her family - Lorna, Lakai, Myra, Myron, and Mylayla love her in return.  Lucy was also loved by her neighbors because of her caring ways.  Lucy was a tirelessly involved in the community that embraced her.

Lucy, we will always be missed.  We have far too many great memories traveling, like going to Yosemite or Sta. Cruz/Monterey, and sharing ordinary afternoons with a refreshing, cold drink.  Lucy was the original foodie carrying her dainty, mini tongs for meals in our travels.  With a twinkle in her eyes, she would delve into her kimchi and smile a mischivous smile.

She affectionately referred to me as Sis perhaps because her best friend Fe, who went to San Jose Sate University with her, was my sister in law.

Lucy, may the perpetual light shine upon you and remain with you always.  May you rest in eternal peace.  Later Sis!

Lucy was  my wonderful, caring neighbor and friend through all the ups and downs of life for 46 years.  She was warm and friendly, famous for her marvelous lumpia, and an important part of Loomis Court for years and years. We felt she was part of our family. She is missed!

Back when I was 11 years old, Auntie Lucy and Ate Myra went here to Philippines. I was really happy to see them because I did not know we have relatives in California. We went to the mall and Auntie Lucy sees me and brothers being fidgety when we got to the toy store. She noticed that we love Pokemon and bought us some Pokemon toys. I was really happy that day. We will miss you Auntie Lucy!
