LUCY MARY STARKS-SANDERS, of Fort Wayne, departed this life on Sunday, June 6, 2022. She was born in Uniontown, Ala. Surviving are her fiance, Chester "Chet" Johnson; son, John (Jean) Sanders III; daughter, Roxanne (Willie) Lewis; brothers, Rev. Ernest (Mary) Starks, Buster (Doris) Starks, David (Collette) Starks, and Eddie (Mary) Starks; sisters, Odessa (Joe) Stewart, Sandra (William) Carswell, Ethel (Roosevelt) Martin, and Lucinda Williams; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
