The first time I met Lucy was almost 10 years ago when I visited the US. I was excited but concerned since I had never been to US before. She and Carmelo gave me the warmest welcome and drove me around in Boston. It was a very cold winter, but I felt so warm in my heart because of them. It is a privilege to get to know her and to listen to her insights about God and life. Lucy is definitely one of a kind. To me, she is a great friend and is my Mom in US. I felt deeply sorry for her passing. Her kindness, wisdom and smell will live in my heart.

We're deeply saddened of the sudden passing of our beloved friend and sister in Christ, Lucy. She was always kind and loving, and was always hospitable to us when visiting her home. She always knew what to say. We know she is sleeping until the second coming of the Lord and we will all celebrate together in heaven. May God be with Lucy's family during these hard times.

I’m heartbroken that we lost such a fun-living, godly, amazing woman. Lucy was a beautiful ray of sunshine brightening the lives of others everywhere she went. Every word that spilled from her mouth was filled with godly wisdom. I met Lucy and her family when I was 14 years old, and being with her and her family, Carmelo, Jessica, Danny and Lito, was always a blast, so many fun memories as a teen and adult. I’m so thankful that this is not goodbye, but until we meet again in our heavenly home, never to be separated again. Lucy has fought the good fight and has blessed so many who crossed her path. She has left a wonderful example to follow in always pouring good things into the lives of others. God Bless the memories she has left us all. My condolences to all the family, she will be greatly missed. Lifting you all up in prayer. May you feel God’s comfort, peace and strength in the coming days ahead and always. Love always, Beth ❤️🙏

I will always remember Lucy for her kind heart, love for sewing, healthy cooking, giving of her time to her causes. I remember always laughing when ever I was around her. Whenever someone uses the word MAJA I think of her. She was a strong woman with a heart of gold. She will be missed.

My last memories of Lucy were our weekly sister-in-law zoom meetings where we shared and spoke about God’s word, vegan recipes, gardening and many other topics, until she became very ill. Lucy had a passion for topics on health, and the word of God. She was always ready to pray for anyone needing prayer. Lucy will be missed by our family, and we can’t wait to see her again when Jesus comes and the dead in Christ will rise. After that, [those, the faithful,] who are still alive will be caught together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so, we will be with the Lord forever (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
