Lucinda's obituary

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Lucinda "Cindy" Tovar, fondly known as Lucinda, born on August 10, 1954, and reluctantly bid farewell on December 18, 2025. Lucinda was a beacon of strength, compassion, and wisdom, always placing the needs of others ahead of her own.

Lucinda was the cherished mother of Amy Blackwell, Amanda Blackshire, Sandra Lammert, and Andrew Lammert. She was deeply endeared by each of her eight grandchildren Brendan, Tristan,  Micah,  Aysia,  Derik,  Wayne,  Shai, and Tyler.  She found immense joy in being a grandmother. Her infectious laughter and nurturing spirit will continue to live on through them.

Lucinda was predeceased by her dear mother, Loretta Lovell, and father, Robert Lovell. Treasured memories of Lucinda's caring, lively, wise, and encouraging personality are collectively shared by all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with her in her lifetime.

Lucinda was an avid fan of coloring, painting, drawing, and crafting, often sharing these passions with her grandchildren. Her favorite color was red, a testament to her vibrant personality. She was a loved and respected teacher who was passionate about making a significant impact on her students who admired her for her wisdom and kindness.

Lucinda was a staunch believer in Jesus and tirelessly championed causes of faith. Devout in her belief, she often advised others to 'Pray about everything and to trust in Jesus.' Her faith was evident in every aspect of her life, and she instilled this faith in her children and grandchildren.

The legacy she leaves behind is a legacy of faith, a testament to her lifetime of service to others and dedication to her beliefs. Lucinda's love for Jesus and her family were her guiding lights, and she leaves behind a legacy that will continue to illuminate the path for those who loved her.
