We regretfully announce the passing of Lucille Rankin of Bossier City, LA on February 01, 2023. Lucille was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully.

Our mother, Lucille, was one of the strongest, most courageous, bravest, kindest women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her as the head of the family. Lucille graduated from Xavier University in 1964 with a degree in Nursing. After graduating, she went on to pursue a career in pediatric medicine.

In 1967, she met Earl Franklin and together they went on to have 3 children. Lucille was a wonderful and loving mother who gave her all to her family. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her. She is survived by her 3 children, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Services will be held on February 8th at Apostolic Outreach Center.
