Palmer, Tennessee – Mrs. Luann Yates, 68, died Wednesday April 10, 2024, at her home in Monteagle, Tennessee.

She was born in Whitwell, Tennessee on January 9, 1956, to Woodrow and Mae Grimes Tate who preceded her in death along with her brothers, Glen and Bruce Tate; infant sister, Brenda Carol Tate.

She worked for Nunley Poultry for several years and later for Allgas before her retirement.

She is survived by her sons, Michael (Tiffaney) and Cory (Brittany) Yates; brother, Lanny (Rose) Tate; sister, Karen Sanders; grandchildren, Taylor, Bently, Nichalas, Peyton and Kole (Lexie); great grandchildren, Emmalyne, Paislynn and Eliza; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Monday April 15, 2024, at 2:00 PM with Minister John Ross Jones officiating.
