Lovett's obituary

Lovett " Sissy" Graves- Koenig; 66 years old of Saugatuck, Michigan passed away on Saturday, May 18th, 2024 at her home. She has battled this rare cancer called Squama's Cell Carcinoma cancer for three years. Lovett was an strong fighter to stay for this long till the Lord decided to take her home on that day.

Lovett found out about the rare cancer. She wanted to donate herself to the science so they can study the cancer to help others. Her body will be cremated. 

Lovett was born in Holland Hospital at Holland, Michigan on September. 26th, 1958 to Ovedell Lawson and Ranny Graves. Lovett attended Saugatuck High School in Saugatuck, Michigan plus grew up in Saugatuck. Lovett did loved to do crafts, sewing, gardening , mushrooms plus owls includes riding on motorcycles plus loved to be with her family and friends especially her grandchildrens and great grandchildrens. She's proud of everything she created for her family. 

Lovett found her soulmate, Richard Koenig and married for twelve years. They both loved to ride on motorcycles as much they could together. She loved to be with her family and friends; laugh at a lot of jokes and loved to make others to smile no matter what. Her family is everything to her more than anything. 

Lovett's survived by her husband Richard Koenig, her two daughters : Cristal Grodi and Sally Prins and her son Tim Lawson, step mother Lois Graves, step son Jason Koenig, and her 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Includes her sibilings Brian Graves and Gerri Halbert plus her sister in law Jayne Graves. Also, Leaves behind many nieces, nephews, grand nephews and grand nieces. 

Lovett's celebration of life is on June 16th at 2 pm. It's locates at Schultz Park in Douglas, Michigan.  The address is 301 Riverview Dr, Douglas, MI 49406
