Love's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Love Johnson, a respected and loved man who was an iconic figure in his community. Mr. Johnson was born on the 6th of August, 1927, and peacefully passed away on the 16th of December, 2023.
Love is survived by his treasured daughters, Linda Faye (James) Harvey, Annie Whipple, Angela (Terry) Williams, and Adeline Chatman. His legacy continues through his sons Clyde Earl King, Lionel King, and David Wayne Dorsey. Love will also be fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law, Virginia (Willie) Harris and Dorothy Dorsey.
In addition to his immediate family, Love was preceded in death by his parents, Gertrude and Love Johnson, his dear wife Rosa Lee King, his brothers Charlie and Louis Johnson, and his sisters Gertrude Rainey, Lubertha Johnson, Ellen Johnson, and Mary Lou (Aaron) Dabney. Love also mourns the loss of his sons Billy Ray, Albert, James, and Orban King.
Known for his courage and resilience, Love made his mark as a well-known Bounty Hunter. His life was filled with excitement and purpose, bringing a sense of justice and order to his work. His audacious spirit, strong sense of duty, and commanding presence will be ever-present in the hearts of the people who had the privilege of knowing him.

While we mourn his departure, we also celebrate the remarkable life he led. His legacy of bravery, resilience, and unparalleled love for his family will continue to inspire generations to come. Love Johnson, you will be deeply missed, and forever in our hearts.
