Lou came to mind this morning, and then I received a note to share a comment online. Funny how that works.  So many amazing experiences working with Lou. Always enjoyed our talks. Learned something new every time! Thinking of and praying for you all.

Uncle Lou, you will be missed by many, but forgotten by no one. Your larger than life personality, infectious laugh, and smile that just put everyone in such a good mood. You made everyone feel like they could accomplish anything and that they mattered. You were a rare soul Uncle Lou and I will carry with me every story, every smile, and every laugh we shared. Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing moments of your life with me. Thank you Melody for reaching out when I know how tough it must have been for you. Rest in peace Uncle Lou, you've earned it!
I was a soulmate dancer... He was wonderful to me. Made me feel like I was one of his favorites. Just a great, positive man. I am sorry for your families loss.

Melody and the Jacobs family,
Thank you for sharing Lou with us all. From the minute I met him at the BlueClaws, I knew he was someone special to so many. I’ll remember all our great times together and long conversations about any topic. He was larger than life, and we’re all better for having knowing him and calling him a friend. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Lou, you gave my daughters a experience they will always cherish. They started out with the Lakewood Blue Claws, Philly Solo then to Rutgers dance team. They learned so much from you, thank you for that opportunity you gave to us all. You will always be in our thoughts, prayers and our hearts. Condolences to your family.

So very sorry to hear of this. Sendimg my condolences to Lou's family.
Prayers for all who knew and loved him. I hope his family and friends gain strength through his spirit during this very difficult time
RIP Lou.
Dear Jacobs Family. This news comes as such a shock to my family and I. We are so sorry to hear this news. I am a dance "dad", turned dance security, and friend. From watching my daughter dance "fun" routines at crowded stadiums, to guarding her on the field, and at Sunday practices hearing Lou's stories of AC and Vegas, I was a fan. Lou cared for all of the kids in his program, and instilled a confidence in them that will live on forever. Mostly, I will miss the phone calls and friendship. I am adding a picture from the Blueclaws comicon night that mostly reminds me of Lou.

Jacob family. So sorry to hear the passing of Lou. Our hearts are broken. He was taking to fast and to soon. I’m one of the dance moms that help out almost from the start. I watched how he use to watch out for each n every girl Like they were his own. You can go on n on and on about Lou. lol. He had a heart bigger then him. I’m going to miss the long talks we use to have. My deepest sympathy to the family. LOVE YOU LOU. Going to miss ur smile n laugh. I know all the girls lost a great mentor. Our hearts are broken 💔love Lisa Fox.
I am so sorry to hear of Lou’s passing. I had the opportunity to work with him via Temple Athletics for many years. We were set to start a junior dance team program together at Temple too right before Covid started last year. This was going to be his last “project” before retiring (as if Lou could ever not be busy).

We shared many conversations over the years and as recent as late last summer about our families. I know how much he loved his family and couldn’t wait to spend more time with his grandchildren.

I will miss his boisterous personality, his “Hollywood” voice as I used to joke with him about (one that I will always hear in my mind), his friendship and support. He had a way of making you feel like a million bucks.

Thoughts, prayers, and condolences to the entire Jacobs family. Lou will be missed greatly.

-Scott Walcoff, Senior Associate AD, Temple Athletics
I will never forget all of the long long talks I had with lou. If I were to share all of the things he ever said to me we would be here forever. But he always told me the craziest stories from high school and how he used to get all the girls. He always had so much humor in his stories. He said to me once that he was at a football game with his girlfriend and his other girlfriend was also at the game and he got caught and was in ALOT of trouble. He always made me laugh.
Lou was one of the greatest people I knew. He has done so much for me since I was a little girl and I will forever appreciate him and everything he has done for me. Just know that he did not only have a huge impact on me and my life, but so many other people as well. He will forever be in my heart. Sending my prayers and love to the family❤️
