Louis's obituary

Louis Rex Focht went home to Jesus on November 3, 2021 at age 89. Lou was born to Doster and Bonnie Focht on July 13, 1932 in Easton, PA.  Lou grew up next door to his wife Betty in Belvidere, New Jersey. They married June 22, 1957 and went on to have three children, Bonnie Lou (Jim) Taylor, Marjorie Ann (Mark) Vogel, and Robert Louis Focht. His love for family grew to include 11 grandchildren, Timothy William Louis (Stephanie) Taylor, Daniel James (Ashley) Taylor, Emily Ruth Taylor, Anna Jayne Taylor, Sarah Elizabeth (Derek) Laird, Nathaniel Mark (Emma) Vogel, Katelyn Hannah Vogel, Joshua Colter Vogel, Alison Elizabeth Focht, Adam Robert (Ekaterina) Focht, and Benjamin Doster Focht; and eight great-grandchildren, Joselyn Elizabeth Laird, Jackson David Laird, Samuel Louis Laird, Laura Grace Laird, Annabelle Rae Taylor, Dashyl Wylde Taylor, and Avrielle Carol Taylor. In addition to being a dedicated and loving husband, father, PopPop and PopPop great, Lou also loved traveling, woodworking, adventuring, butterfly and rock collecting. His love for and knowledge of God's creation in flora, geology and astronomy was amazing. Throughout his entire life, he held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him.
