Lorrie's obituary

Lorrie Ann Butler, beloved wife, mother, sister, cousin, and generally everything to everybody, passed away on November 5, 2022 after an extremely brave and fearless battle with metastatic breast cancer. Lorrie was born on February 10, 1968 in Denver, Colorado to the late Lorraine Bonnie and Dennis Pacheco.

Lorrie was born and raised in Denver and studied Art History in college. Her professional career was dedicated to public libraries, namely her 20-plus years at The Denver Public Library, which throughout her storied career, always remained her true love and passion professionally.

Lorrie loved life in many forms, yet there were a few things that truly drove her. First and foremost, she loved her family and friends, with of course special mention to her beautiful and amazing daughter, Mayaih. Lorrie also loved travel, art, Frank Sinatra, Tiffany, and of course, her many scarves.

Lorrie is survived by her husband Jon, daughter Mayaih, siblings Dennis, Michael and Cindy, and all her amazing nieces, nephews and cousins. Lorrie was preceded in death by her siblings Denise, Bernice, and Leroy.
