Lorri, That first day so many years ago...when I walked in that church with my quirky child and his siblings in tow. I sat in awe of you... Before that day, I didn't know a home school mom could actually be a diva... Lol. I was enamored by how beautiful this boisterous woman with her engaging laugh and endless confidence could command a room.... In the years that followed, you proved yourself tho be a valiant fighter and faithful friend. You challenged me so far beyond what I thought I could be and you were the inspiration for what later became my career... And that is just how you impacted me... My children have a passion for the arts they never would have fostered if it weren't for the impact you had and a confidence that has made them successful in their chosen fields. In many ways, we would not be who we are today if not for your place in our lives... We love you. We are thrilled for the joy you must be feeling in the presence of or savior, and yet our grief is coming in uncontrollable waves. I cannot imagine a gathering of friends without your hearty laugh and crazy stories... We will do our best to be here for your boys. When Ethan needs a momma's hug, my arms will be wide open... They cannot compare to yours... But perhaps he can find the smallest modicum of comfort here. Your "flock" has had their wings clipped by your leaving so suddenly... But I believe they will soar once more to make you so proud. Alsk Jesus to give you a front row seat. I love you my beautiful friend... Enjoy the presence of the Lord until we can join you in paradise!
