Just a quiet thought tonight before Mother’s Day arrives.

Thinking of you, and remembering your mum too.

Some loves don’t disappear — they simply change the way they sit with us.

Forever remembered on this day.

Remembering Gigi with respect and remembrance.  Wishing peace and comfort to her loved ones.

Things that remind me of mum, my son, every day I think to myself when he does something "oh mum would love to hear this story!" I miss her laugh, her honesty and her stubbornness gosh I miss every part of mum. Im reminded of her every day in so many ways!

Theres a magical about the bond between sisters — a kind of love woven through shared laughter, whispered secrets.

Gigi was always defending her siblings, family like lionesses. I recall a shopping trip to purchase a wedding dress for our sister Brenda!! The lioness awake lol!! Lets just say one of the funniest day we had as siblings,  A day full of laughter and fun!!

Most fun i ever had with mum. Honestly was most of the times I was with her. Loved talking to her about the Lord. My son and life in general. Such fond memories, from driving together, styling our homes and some clothing items, planning Wize Up things all of it. Still find myself thinking, oh I will tell mum xyz. The biggest thing about my mum, when she loved, she loved hard and real, she really was the real deal! Irreplaceable

From the 1st day we meet Mrs Boyd she welcomed us both to her school. Kieran had been through a lot in life already and was struggling with secondary school he came in year 7, then he was just a little boy who was scared of the big kids, I told Mrs Boyd he was scared and she took her under her wing and showed her loving caring side to make sure he was comfortable.  I Will never forget how she made me feel in his 1st few days when i was anxious and she would say "these are all my children". She was always there to speak to him when he needed help. After learning our history she offered her support and said she was alway there if I needed to talk, Going above and beyond showed Mrs Boyd was not olny being a great head teacher but a amazing person with a kind heart who genuinely cared about her students.  Kieran spent many days with her and 3 years later she was still putting her all (as well as other staff) in to helping raise kieran in to a adult to be proud off even when he was rude or showed challenging behaviour she never gave up and always had time for him. Kieran has said he still can't believe shes gone. It's strange when we arrive at school and Mrs Boyds car is not there and not being able to  just going into her office and see her, a memory i will always have is when  she would swap her heels and ware her crocs. I will always remember you.  ❤️

Me and Kieran send our deepest condolences to Mr Boyd and all her family as well as all the staff in Wize up. Rip.  We will never forget you and how you made the world a better place.

Love Terri, Kieran Fleming

You are so much loved. Death has no power over you, because you believed in Jesus and have trasitioned.

May your soul continue to rest in the bossom of the Lord.

Rip Lorretta allways cared for all of us at Wize up no matter how much we rebelled tomorow was allways a new and positive day
Lorretta was a shining example to us all with her love and kindness and will never be forgotten by those whose lives she touched. We will miss her more than words can ever say but we will go on, knowing our lives have been even more special because she has been a part of it. In the midst of our sorrow, we are also glad that she is no longer suffering and even in the pain there will be memories that make us smile.
I know she is safe in Heaven with her Lord and look forward to the day we will meet again. May God bless all who she has loved.
Rest in peace Lorretta, you have earned your rest in Heaven.
Deborah ❤️

Loretta you will truly be missed for the genuine care, compassion, laughter and love you offered, not just by the young people you worked with over the years but the adults you touched too.

Loved, respected, missed dearly but never ever forgotten ❤️

I am so sorry to learn of this news. Mrs Boyd was an amazing lady and did amazing work with young people including my son who was devastating when he found out. R.I.P. to a wonderful, beautiful human being. You have a special place in heaven ✨️🙏🏽
Such a sad loss of a wonderful woman. Gigi was the matriarchal personality when I was younger. Always giving positive and supportive advice in a difficult time of my life when was a kid. She will be well missed. Rest in Peace our Queen x 💔🙏🏿😢
