Lori “Aunt” Lori was a phenomenal person! She will be truly missed. She was a wonderful sister and sister-in-law, the best Aunt and a true friend! We have many memories of times together. Lori and Bill are the Godparents of our youngest daughter Ashley and she was fortunate to spend many summers with Lori and Bill. We will always have our memories of trips to Chicago , shopping, visiting, museums, dancing under the stars in downtown, swimming, and just hanging out at the house! Phone conversations and support always no matter what! There was always laughter and a good story! We know Lori is with the Lord and someday will all be together again. She inspired faith in everyone she knew.!
We will miss you,
Love Richard & Marilyn

Per Cheryl Nelson - For nearly four decades, Lori and I were friends and colleagues. We were fortunate that our careers allowed us to have frequent conversations about life and teaching. Lori had admirable energy and an ability to bring out the3 best in her students. She was a deeply devoted friend. I will miss our days together, lunches after retirement, shopping trips, knitting sessions, conversations about family, chats about books, and check-up phone calls and texts. Lori was extraordinary on so many levels. Her friendship was truly a blessing.
With sympathy and love,
Cheryl Nelson

Lori and I met our senior year at NIU and continued our friendship almost 60 years. We raised our kids together, took vacations together as couples, enjoyed tennis, bike rides, shared books, recipes and long walks at the arboretum and Naperville Riverwalk. She and I had adventures in Spain and France in the past ten years. She was like a sister to me and will be dearly missed. Kathi Olson

I feel so sad about Lori and sad for her family!I never would have thought that she could get sick and be gone so quickly! She was always so active and on the go. I loved our lunches, get togethers, and warm conversations always! I look forward to seeing her at the Golden Gates of Heaven - even though she wasn’t suppose to leave before me! My heart is so very sad at the loss of my forever friend, adopted sister, and cherished co-worker! My years at Gower working as Lori’s aide, were incredibly happy and rewarding years! She brought love, warmth, caring and an overwhelming amount of knowledge and fun-filled experiences to her many students over the years! She had a generous heart and I have so many wonderful gifts from her in our house to remember her with each day! Our special lunches with Anna hold special memories! We shared our blessings of our great husbands, treasured children, and amazing grandchildren! Leo will always remember taking Lori on a tubing adventure with her granddaughter, Juliana, at the lake!
You will be truly missed, sweet friend! Love ❤️, Sue
