A beautiful lady always with a smile...

Dear Emily,  Your mom was, as you know, one in a million. She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside.  I remember her voice, soft yet full of life and exhilaration. She was so smart and sassy had great energy. I loved many things about her. She had a presence that drew anyone that was with her, IN.  I loved talking with Lorraine. You and Samantha were good friends then so she and I would have moments when you girls got together to chat and catch up. She was real and down to earth. We would talk about being moms and how challenging they could be. We would talk about husbands and how challenging that could be too. We talked about gardening and life. Lorraine was and is a beautiful spirit that will always be with those that knew and loved her. She is with you every moment of every day... I hope that you and I cross paths again one day. It would be so nice to see you. When you were very young you too had that beautiful spirit, a bold and bright personality. You are loved and admired just like your mom. Hold onto that Em, and always cherish your beautiful memories of your mom.  My love and thoughts are with you. Lots of love, Jermain

I am so sorry for you loss, Emily.  You are a wonderful daughter and such a source of pride for your mother.  We who knew her were lucky to have her in our lives ! I wish you peace and happiness!

I thought of her as my forever friend and one day she would bury me.
So now I must move on with all the wonderful memories of good times and laughter she has left me.
You did a magnificent job managing her treatment and providing her daily medications and working at your job. And taking classes ! Women are Steal Magnolias, don’t forget .

Lorraine, I knew her as Scottie in 1971, was a wonderful, loving, happy person who was a leader in the high school choir and a young person with tremendous potential.  It was a blessing to know her for the time I did.  Heaven will benefit from her arrival.

Emily, your Mother will be missed by many.  I have such fond memories from our college days and she will hold a special place in my heart.  

So very sorry to hear of Lorraine’s death.  Such a loss.  We were friends for many years and I will remember her beauty, laughter and warm, welcoming home fondly.  Emily, your Mom loved you so much.  You were the light of her life.   You were her everything.  I hope she is at peace now. ❤️

I worked with Lorraine for a few years and I can still hear her boisterous laugh. Full of life, fun to be around, and always very positive. She will be missed. My condolences to her family.

I was so saddened to hear of Lorraine's passing. We were co-workers for many years. She was a lovely person who always made me smile. My condolences to her family.  May she rest in peace.
