How you can help

Community and causes were an integral part of Lorraine's life. Her dedication to empowerment and progress served as inspiration for individuals to be change agents. To continue her legacy, the family asks that you support one of the following organizations through a donation in her honor:

Urban League of Union County - Lorraine was a dedicated member of the Urban League for over 20 years and served as the President of the Urban League Guild of Union County for over 10 years. The Urban League of Union County's goal is to enable African Americans and other disadvantaged people to secure economic self-reliance, parity, power, and civil rights.

ECANA - Lorraine was diagnosed with endometrial cancer in 2019 and made it her mission to educate Black Women about the importance of gynecological exams and women's health. ECANA supports, creates community, and empowers African-American women affected by endometrial cancer. A donation to this charity will help fund services and programs for those they serve.

Roselle Public Library - Lorraine served as the Treasurer of the Roselle Public Library for the past two years.
