Lorne's obituary

We deeply mourn the loss of Lorne "Kevin" Elmore, a loving son, brother, dad, husband, uncle, and grandfather who was fondly known as Kevin. Born on April 14, 1967, he left us on June 11, 2025, passing peacefully in his sleep; leaving behind a legacy of kindness and generosity.

A man of playful spirit, Lorne was caring, giving, kind, generous, and loving. He always saw the bright side of things and would do anything for anyone. His love for his family was immeasurable and he greatly enjoyed the little things in life. He loved to fish, camp, barbecue, and play cards, always finding joy in these simple pleasures.

Music was a huge passion, with him favoring ACDC, 80s rock, and old country. A fan Clint Eastwood movies. One of his other passions was sports, specifically cheering for his favorite team, the Rams. Fishing and barbecuing were his favorite recreational activities, often at his favorite local spots which, naturally, were his beloved fishing spots. He took great pride in barbecuing for his family and was always the last to eat, assuring everyone had plenty of food.

Lorne is survived by his mother, Linda Fitchlee; his wife, Tina Elmore; his sons, Christopher, Nicholas, and Jacob Elmore; his brother, Jonathan Fitchlee; and his sisters, Kimberly Jackson and Lara Skaggs; grandchildren and many other loved ones. One of his greatest accomplishments, as he often said, was his grandchildren, who will cherish their memories of him forever.

Lorne's legacy is one of love, kindness, and generosity. He always had a positive outlook and a deep love for his family. His vibrant spirit and warm heart will be missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the many lives he touched and the love he shared.
