Lori Lynn Matula, aged 57, passed away on November 15, 2025, in Barrington, IL. Born on January 6, 1968, Lori was known for her vibrant personality, characterized by her love, humor, and spontaneous nature. She was a devoted mother and a fashion enthusiast with a passion for gardening. Lori was particularly fond of her Chicago Bears and cherished moments drawing and caring for plants and flowers.

Lori is survived by a loving family: her mother, Judith Corole; father, Eugene Boe (Ruth); son, Jason Matula (Imelda); granddaughter, Camila Matula; brother, Robert Boe (Wendy); twin sister, Kimberly Boe; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica Matula; sister, Linda Boe; and grandparents, Jessie Peterson and Beatrice Kullick.

Professionally, Lori was a valued employee at Granger, where she contributed significantly to her team. Her hobbies included kayaking, enjoying music, and supporting Chicago sports teams, which brought much joy and excitement to her life.

A service to honor Lori's life will be held on December 8, 2025, from 4-8pm at Friendship Park Conservatory, 395 W Algonquin Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016. In lieu of traditional remembrances, Lori's love for plants and gardens can be honored through planting something in her memory, continuing her legacy of nurturing and growth.
