Lori Shawn Hawley-Gerard at the age of 53, passed away on December 26th, 2018.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 19th, 2018. (details to follow)
She will be laid to rest in Searles Valley Cemetery in Trona, California.

Lori is the loving daughter of Donna Harinek & James Scott.
Lori was born June 11, 1965 in Trona, California.
She married Gene Gerard in Ridgecrest, California on April 5, 2006.
Lori was a loving mother to 7 children. Four of her own, a daughter and 3 sons, and three step-children.
Lori worked as a care giver for many years, serving the elderly and sick. She was a generous and caring person. She loved her kids. Lori had a compassionate heart for children and the elderly. She was the type of person to go out of her way to help a person in need. She found the humor in almost anything. She was a woman who called life as she saw it. She enjoyed being outside and loved flowers. She was always up for an adventure. Lori is in heaven rejoicing in the reunion of her dad Jim Scott and sister Lisa and nieces Cathy and Kim who were all taken too soon. She has missed them all dearly, for most of her life. What ever she is doing, you'll know she's "Doin it movin".

Lori is proceeded in death by her father James Scott, her sister Lisa Dawn Hawley-Johnson, her two nieces Cathy Jolene & Kimberly Dawn.

Lori is survived by:
Her mother Donna Harinek, of Johannesburg, Ca.
Her husband of 12 years, Gene Gerard.
Her daughter Karly, and husband Josh Beasley of Jacksonville, TX. Her son Kyle, and wife Nicole Doyle, of San Diego, Ca. Her son Kaleb, and wife Shelby Doyle, of San Diego, Ca. Her son Korey, and wife Christian Musil, of Palestine Tx. Step daughter Sara Gerard and husband Josh Johns, Step son Robert, and wife Miranda Gerard. Step son Gene Gerard Jr, all from Ridgecrest, Ca.
Her sister Linda Roberson of Lubbock, Tx and her 3 children Randy, Sierra, and Savannah. Her brother Jeffrey Scott, of Johannesburg, Ca and his 3 daughters Kassidy, Jordan, and Patience. Her sister Heather Davis and her two children, of Oklahoma.

12 Grandchildren: Boston, Brylin, Kellan and Kennedy Beasley. Ellis Doyle. Kaleb Jr. & Shiloh Doyle. Soon to be Baby Musil. Cieana Johns. Brayden & Averie Gerard. Nova Gerard.
