Lori, was my childhood  best friend's  big sister.  She was so beautiful and cool and Beth and I looked up to her.  I wanted to be Lori.   When Lori  went out with friends,   Beth and I  would go into her bedroom and listen to her Elton John albums and dance and sing on her bed.  EJ will always remind me of Lori.     Lori and all her sister's love music so much.   Lori was always moving, singing, dancing, jumping. I have a  forever picture in my head of  Lori dancing and singing "Last Dance for Mary Jane"  around Beth's yard, during one of our reunions, all by herself,  completely lost in the music.

During Covid lock down, I joined a Bible study with Lori and her husband Bill.   Bill  led the Bible study and spent so much time answering questions - time was of no concern.    Bill would often start in Genesis and go through the whole Bible to thoroughly answer the question.  Bill and Lori were always so excited to talk about the Lord. Once I called with a question and they both called back spending hours  on the phone with me. Lori was so in love with the Lord.  He was all she wanted to talk about.   I remember once they went on a 'bucket list' vacation and when she came back she was so excited to tell me about the hotel worker with whom she was able to have discussions about he Lord asking me to pray for the women.    Throughout her illness, I never heard Lori complain.   She always praised the Lord for saving her.  Her desire was that many would come to know Him,  as she had.  I will always remember Lori  for her excitement in speaking of her Lord and Savior.  Even when she was sick she was excited to speak of her savior. She was a true testament of  His great love and mercy.  I'm grateful she is with her Savior.  I'll always love and miss Lori.

My Aunt Lori was a kind, loving, and a bright spirit. She taught me to be strong & courageous. That we can face anything that comes our way with our father by our sides. God gave her a gift and she delivered. Thank you for never holding back and always taking life head on. You were an amazing example and the most loving aunt I could ask for. Forever missed, but NEVER forgotten.  May she dance & rest in peace.
