Loretto's obituary

Loretto “Lolo” Wulforst, of Worcester Massachusetts, passed away on April 3, 2021 at the age of 63 surrounded by her family.

Loretto was born in Long Island, New York. She loved spending time with family and friends while enjoying a round of clams and lobster. She loved cats and you could always see her in her favorite scrubs shirt while enjoying some Schweppes Ginger Ale. She attended Rome School for the Deaf, before attending New Hampshire College where she met her Ex-Husband, and lifelong best friend Thomas Dobson. They established their roots in Worcester MA, where they raised their four children. Later in her life, she relocated to Rochester, New York before returning to Worcester MA in 2020.

She is survived by her Ex-Husband Thomas Dobson, of Worcester MA, her four children: Holly St Jean and her husband Jeffrey St Jean of Oxford MA, Jason Dobson and his wife Lisa Dobson of Millbury MA, Jerome Dobson of Shrewsbury MA, and Justin Dobson of Worcester MA as well as her two grandchildren Hailey Dobson and Hunter St Jean. She is also survived by her siblings: Bobby Wulforst and his wife Celeste, Jimmy Wulforst and his wife Sissy, Virginia Reamer, Brenda Farrell and her husband Art, and Mike Wulforst and his wife Melanie. Along with her many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

Loretto is predeceased by her parents Phyllis Wulforst and Robert Wulforst.


A funeral mass will be held at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church of Our Lady of Providence Parish located at 236 Lincoln St, Worcester, MA 01605 on Friday April 9, 2021 at 2:00 pm. Face Coverings are required and social distancing guidelines will be followed.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations can be made to the Center for Living and Working, Inc. of Worcester, MA.
