She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Charles, her husband of 29 years, Thomas Lanpher, and her life-long friend, Mimi McDonald. Loretta was an incredible woman who held strong to her beliefs and advocated for the rights of others. She was a constant voice at Peoria School Board meetings, UAW rallies, and any function her children or grandchildren were participating in. She worked many different jobs in order to help support her family, but retired from Lowes in 2014. Since then, her time has been spent with her grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at Gold Star Park in Wetumpka, Alabama on Saturday, November 13, 2021. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Elmore County Humane Society or your local animal shelter.
