1975 – 2025

Lorena passed away on October 23 , 2025 at the age of 50 , leaving behind a story marked by courage, sacrifice, and an enduring desire to do what was right—despite the obstacles she faced.

From an early age, Lorena carried burdens heavier than most could ever understand. She faced challenges that shaped her life in difficult ways, yet she continued to try—again and again—to find light in a world that did not always offer it to her. Though her journey was complicated and often painful, she never stopped striving for better.

One of the greatest acts of love in her life was the selfless decision to place her children for adoption. She did this not out of lack of love, but out of its abundance. She wanted her children to have the stability, safety, and opportunities she feared she could not provide. Those who knew her understood how deeply she cared for them, even from a distance, and how often she spoke of them with pride, hope, and tenderness.

Throughout her life, Lorena battled addiction—an illness that does not define her, but that played a heartbreaking role in her story. Despite the struggle, she showed remarkable resilience. She tried. She stumbled. She got back up. She kept reaching for the better life she believed might someday be within her grasp. Her efforts, though often silent, were real and brave.

Lorena will be remembered for her warm smile, her generous spirit, and her ability to make others feel seen and understood. She had a kind heart, a gentle soul, and a deep yearning for peace. Those who loved her will forever carry the memory of her laughter, her sweetness, and the love she had to give.
