Lois's obituary

Mrs. Lois Pridemore of Cherokee Village, Arkansas passed away on May 17, 2022.

Born in 1938 in rural Arkansas, Lois, a proud U.S. Marine wife, lived a full life and was known for her quick wit, love of reading, generosity and fierce love for her family.  Not a day went by where Lois didn't talk about how much her children and family meant to her -- her family was arguably her most important achievement in life.

Lois is survived by her children Barbara Anne (Ivica) Lukenda of Douglasville, GA; Francis Bruce of Cherokee Village, AR; Belinda (Dennis) Brown of Atlanta, GA; Gabriel Owens of Atlanta, GA; Savannah (Dana) Stout of Batesville, AR; and Billy Pridemore of Jenkins, KY as well as many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Lois was predeceased by her husband First Sergeant Donald Ray Pridemore, USMC, Retired and daughter Cathy Owens.  A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. (EST) on June 12, 2022 at Sweetwater Creek State Park Visitor Center in Lithia Springs, Georgia.  In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Lois' name to Vietnam Veterans of America.
