Lois's obituary
Lois Bell Johnson, age 69, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at her home in Murphy, NC, following a brief illness. Lois was born on December 13, 1952 in Murphy, NC and was a daughter of Nadine Bell of Murphy, and the late Robert Bell. She was a long-time resident of Roanoke Island, NC, but moved back to Murphy in 2020 after her husband passed away.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Richard "Ricky" Johnson, who passed away in 2020, and her brother, Thomas Bell.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her brother, Joseph Bell and wife Edna, of Murphy, sister-in-law, Renae Bell, of Murphy, nephews, Peter Bell, Adam Bell, and Jacob Bell, and a niece, Bethany Revis.
Services will be held at 4 pm July 30, 2022 at the Townsend-Rose Mortuary. Visitation will be held for an hour before the service. Burial will follow in the Serenity Hills Memorial Park in Chatsworth, GA.
