Lois's obituary
Lois was born April 15, 1949 to Irene and Lester Shearing of Brockton Massachusetts. She worked as an LPN at Goddard Memorial Hospital in Stoughton Ma. In 1970 she married Steve DuBow of Boston, Ma. and in 1971 they had their only daughter, Nicole. Together they moved to The Woodlands Texas in 1977 where she began her career as a pre-school teacher operating her own business caring for young children for over 18 years. In 2006, Lois was excited to become a grandmother for the first time and then again in 2012. Lois truly loved being a grandmother. She loved the beach and dogs. She liked reading, knitting and paint by number. Lois and Steve were huge Houston Astro's fans who enjoyed their time together watching the games.
She is survived by her loving husband, Steve DuBow, daughter and son-in-law Nicole and Ed Rinaldo, grandchildren Ysa and Lula Rinaldo, sister and brother-in-law Susan and Randy DeCosta, sister-in-law Elizabeth Shearing, and many nieces and nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, sister Linda Perry and brother Lester Shearing.
