I’m blessed to have known her. Lois was a true friend. 

Lois was a truly gracious and loving person who reached out to me and my husband, new acquaintances, through a group we all belonged to. She shared humor, prayers, and inspiration and made us feel seen and accepted. Her stories of her adventures as an independent working woman in Chicago were not only fun and well told but also inspired me in my novel writing. I was still getting to know and appreciate her when she passed, and I miss her kindness, her outspokenness, her affection, and her sharing, as well as her spiritual side. A new friend gone to soon. My condolences to her family, and know that Lois was someone who touched lives for the better! 

Lois taught me that most everything in life is a trade off.

Sincere condolences to the bereaved family. May the memories of your Mom comfort you at this difficult times. Rest in peace my dear friend Lois.
