Lloyd Peterson, age 88, of Aurora, CO, went home to be with the Lord on April 17th, 2024, with his wife and forever soulmate by his side. Born on January 16th, 1936, in Jennings, Louisiana, Lloyd was the Son of Edmund Peterson and Martha Dominigue. He served as a Staff Sergeant in the Army and later joined as a deputy in the El Paso County Sheriff's Department in Colorado Springs upon his retirement in 1976. He married Annie Bodden on May 8th, 1981, and enjoyed 43 years of marriage.

Lloyd is survived by his spouse, Annie Peterson, and their children, Stephanie Whitaker, Martha Burns and Annie Ballard.

Lloyd is also survived by his five other children: Deborah Foster, Joslyn Quincy, Lloyd Peterson Jr., Cyril Peterson and Betina Peterson.

Lloyd was blessed with many siblings, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral and Celebration of Life:

Viewing: May 2nd, 2024, 4-8 pm

Funeral: May 3rd, 2024, 2 pm.

Memorial Garden, 3825 Airport Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910.

Burial with reception to follow immediately after at 6523 N academy blvd 80918.

Additionally, a Zoom meeting code will be available for those unable to attend in person.
