Personal note from Gayle

I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who provided care for Lloyd during this most difficult journey. Late last year Lloyd attended physical therapy at the Hackettstown Medical Center where the therapists were tremendous in their care of him. He eventually graduated into the Living Right program, where we met Justin... who provided one-on-one therapy along with lots of laughs and good times. Justin often called to check- up on Lloyd when he missed his sessions. Thank you Justin for all your compassion and kindness. In January 2023, Lloyd was treated with compassionate care while in the ICU of Hackettstown Medical Center, where many nurses displayed so much kindness and took the time to treat him with respect. Once placed in at-home hospice, the Atlantic Visiting Nurse service was available every minute of the day to help me care for Lloyd... whether I called in the afternoon or late into the evening, the nurses took their time to comfort me and instruct me on next steps. And I MUST mention the care Lloyd received from a beautiful, young home health aide... Lesly S. who was tender, reassuring and gentle when caring for my Lloyd! Finally, I thank EVERYONE who stepped up to help me... I called them... Team Lloyd! My family or friends who shopped for me, or sent me care packages of homemade soup, those who sat with Lloyd so I could workout at the gym, others who checked-in with me daily and those of you who sent cards and flowers. I could not have cared for my Lloyd without this wonderful village of loving people. I know Lloyd is smiling down at you and thanking you for taking care of me! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
