My condolences to the family. We are still in shock. Hard to understand. We pray for the family for strength and good memories of their father. May his soul transcend to that of peace.
Suupps!!! is what I and many of us would call Lloyd when we were having a great time or joking about something really funny. I have known Lloyd since I was a little boy and Lloyd was family. Lots of memories throughout the years from all night game nights, to summer trips to six flags, to BBQs in Elmont and movies at sunrise theatre, to going for ice cream at taste of the tropics, to 90s basketball (Lloyd was a huge bulls fan), to him helping me big time with my house. Lloyd was true to who he was as a person. He was tremendously talented at his craft, he was a truth teller, he was a lifetime friend to many. I still find it hard to accept that he is truly gone. God bless his soul. You will be remembered Lloyd “suupps!!!”
To LLloys’s children, Lucina, Jerry, Conrad, Doreen and the Reston the family my sincere condolences on the sudden and untimely loss of your dearest dad and brother. May his memories you shared strengthen you during this painful time.

Crook crook, all crooks Marv’s. That was your favorite phrase, lol. I’m gonna miss hearing that Lloyd. I never imagined you would have left so soon. I had so much to say to you. Now that will never happen. I thought of calling you on Sunday, And you were gone on Monday. So much was unsaid; It’s a definite truth about not taking people for granted. We need to embrace each moment & each other, mend broken relationships, forgive and love each other, in spite of circumstances that come our way. No one knows when God is going to close the chapter of our life on earth . When I got the news of your death, it felt like my blood stopped flowing through my veins. I felt empty. I’m sorry I disobeyed that inner voice within me that ignited me to call you. Now I have to live with that guilt. I felt so hurt, sad and distrusted, I have to live with the notion that you are gone my dear friend. You were are very unique person. A genuine person who was always willing to help one in need. You were a hard worker that dedicated to his job, a man who had vision, great skills, talents, & ambition. A man who took great pride in what he did. You were a great provider to your family. You stood for what you believed and no one could change your mind. You were very stubborn, lol. Ohhhh, you loved a good laugh man. You unique characteristics is what made you LLoyd and everyone love you. You will truly be missed brother.
Praying that God comforts and strengthen all of his family, friends, and loved ones during this time. Lloyd was truly a nice person. May his soul Rest In Peace.
