Lise's obituary

Lise McGregor was my Everything. She was my girlfriend, best friend. My reason for being.

Lise left us Friday, August 7th, 2020.

There have been few people on this planet that cared for others as much as Lise. She spent years traveling the country as an environmental activist.

She fought for human rights, animal rights; she fought for causes that many thought were impossible to overcome.

With a group of fellow activist, she successfully sued the U.S. government to better the life of her fellow Californians. Lise cared.

Lise immersed herself in politics, knowing, and spreading the importance of every election. Not just the big, General Elections but he primaries, every
single office in every single town is important. These are the elected positions that truly make changes for the better.

Lise had a son, Jeremy, an amazing young man that Lise was so incredibly proud of. She passed her compassion, and zest for life to him.

The first time I met Lise in person, I picked her up in the biggest hug I had. She would tell me later that she melted at my touch. We were meant to be.

I waited 53 years to meet my best friend. While our time on this plane was far too brief, I will love and cherish her for all time.

And oh how she loved animals, especially dogs. Her babies throughout her life included Chester, and Max, both English Bulldogs, the furbaby that
came into my life when I met Lise, Louie the French Bulldog, and our beloved Highball, a rescue that surely rescued us both.

I find some peace in knowing that my Everything, my Universe, my Lise is finally reunited with her precious babies, and that someday, I will be joining
them for our next great adventure, together.
