I had the privilege of working with Betsy for several years at the Fed. She was a true professional, a teacher and mentor to many, and a delight to work with. I always appreciated how truly down to earth she was and how she could always put things in their proper perspective with her incredible sense of humor. She was a friend and will be deeply missed. My deepest condolences to Dave, her children, and entire family.
My deepest condolences to the Tallent family.  Betsy was a colleague and a great friend.  She and I worked closely together for several years and, as with all examiners, we shared stories about our families.  So, we got to hear about her dad, her adult children, and of course Dave.  I always looked forward to our work together in Colorado because it gave us an opportunity to reconnect and occasionally have a drink or two after work to wash away our stresses!  She really was a dear friend and one who will always be missed.

Betsy lived down the street from me. We were best friends for a few years.
She was so so much smarter than me. Her Mom would always be sitting in her chair. Great lady. When "Taylor would come home it would be an even happier home. Betsy watched "The Birds" at my house. I walked her down my street towards her house. Between her house and mine was a brick house enclosed by wraught iron. No street light. It was scary. We both ran home.
Betsy was my "partner in crime" in a Chagrin Falls cop car. We were taken to the Police station from a house (oh heck, my house) that had been raided for underage drinking. Mrs Taylor didnt drive so she advised us to get a ride home from her neighbor, a lawyer who would be there to pick up his own daughter. They just wanted to frighten us. But that didn't work on either of us. But it did change us both.
In the short time, I got to know Betsy, her generous spirit, love of her family, humor, and warmth shined through. She was a wild sunflower scattering bright petals throughout our world. May her soul rest in peace. Sending love to Dave and the Tallent Family.

Our wishes and condolences for the family as you celebrate and remember the thoughtfulness that Betsy shared, and how it changed your world, the world.

I’ll never forget attending an Oscar party with Julie, Betsy, and “the Librarians.” Betsy was so dang smart. She kept us all entertained with her quick wit and Hollywood trivia. It was astonishing. Julie & Betsy’s families are a roomful of bright characters. My thoughts are with you all during this present time of loss and sorrow, but I can only imagine the rich family memories of Betsy you will all hold and share with one another as you gather in the future.

Sending you all love and holding space for you in the loss of sweet Betsy. May her memory comfort you all and may you continue to live in joy for her. 💕

Love the Dore Family

Dave, positive healing thoughts and prayers for you and your wonderful family. Much love, The Fusco Family
You received her sense of dry humor, Sam. Her old soul was inherited by you, Sophia. Finally, Betsy and you, Dave, fit like a hand in a glove......she will be missed!

I am so sorry for your loss. Betsy was a fierce defender of her family and friends. Her memory is treasured.
So very sorry for your loss.   Betsy is a legend in the bank supervision world.  I worked closely with Betsy after she returned to the Fed for a second time which was a tough time in the banking industry.  She brought such a calm demeanor and professionalism with a wonderful smile and laugh that was so contagious.  Her many leadership traits are something I still envy and try to imitate today in my own career.

Sophie, Sam, Dave, and extended Tallent family,

I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. Betsy was one of a kind— her beautiful obituary reflects just that.  I will always remember her Oscars parties and when we went to the Cruise Room. Sending  love and healing to your family.

We are so very saddened to hear of your loss. Your mother was a wonderful, kind, intelligent woman. We wish peace and comfort to you and your family. May you continue to shine her light brightly. 🤍

I am so, so sorry for the entire Talent family.  Such a tough loss. If I could be at both gatherings, you know I would be, but I'll be out of town. As the prayer says, "May her memory be a blessing to all who knew her."

Love you guys... Michael Rubens
