It’s hard to believe that a year has passed! The kids and I miss your physical presence every single day. Though you may no longer be here with us in body, you remain in our hearts, providing comfort, love, and joy. There are daily reminders of you reflected in all that we do. I hope everyone who misses you can take a moment to think of her and recognize the “glimmers” – those little things that remind us of her. Moments like hugs and belly-aching laughter. "A bird doesn't sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song." - Maya Angelou We still hear your song! Much love and peace to you, and to everyone who is thinking of her.
I have been looking for Lisa …
San Francisco, CA, USA
I have been looking for Lisa for so many years. She was my BAYAC leader and was such an important person in my life. I'm heart broken. Completely heartbroken. I just hope she knows how she touched so many people's lives and was the best mentor anyone could ask for. Love and prayers to you Jimmy and your family.

My heart and thoughts truly go out to your family. I am so sorry for your loss.

Jimmy and family,

My most sincere condolences. I had the honor to work with Lisa at OHSU for a number of years. She was the best and will be missed. May you all gain comfort and solace with the passage of time and love.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Even though I didn't meet Lisa, I was able to see her influence through her two incredible children. Dylan and Catherine are smart, compassionate, and fun people. Those traits can only be created through an awesome mom. Hugs and love to all of you. Mrs. Villegas (Leslie)

Dear Jimmy, Dylan and Catherine,

Dick, Cara, Talia, Quinn and I are thinking of all of you in our prayers at this time.  Please know that if you need anything, do not hesitate to ask. Just call or walk over and we will be happy to assist in anyway.

Lisa was on my very first team at Genentech, and she really helped me in my transition from the Navy to the civilian world. She knew I was struggling to adapt and quickly become one of my go-to friends at work who helped me to adjust. We eventually were assigned to other teams but she always checked in to see how things were going, and the quotes she shared with us daily hold a special memory in my heart. We carry on her tradition of sharing inspiring quotes every single day. We love Lisa and wish the best for her family in these difficult times, thank you for sharing her with us!
I had the privilege of knowing Lisa through getting to teach both of her sweet kids in 3rd grade.  She was so kind and personable and I am so sad to hear of her passing.  My prayers are with the family.

All my love to the family and friends suffering from the loss of Lisa. She was one of a kind. She will be missed dearly and I consider myself lucky to have known her. Hugs from Kansas
