We were so saddened and shocked to hear about the passing of Lisa. She was such a kind, compassionate, funny and loving person who brought joy to all who knew her. Our mom Kristi Byrne was Lisa's best friend, and I know she cherished every moment they spent together.
Lisa had such a vibrant spirit and positive outlook on life. Her witty sense of humor and warm smile lit up every room she entered. She truly cared for others and went out of her way to help those in need. Her sweet and welcoming nature made her beloved by all, especially the children at Grandview Elementary. My sister and I both remember fondly going to Lisa whenever we needed anything.
While her passing leaves a void in our lives, the memories we shared with Lisa will stay in our hearts forever. Carly and I will always remember her infectious laugh, sage advice and unending support that she gave our mom. She was a true and loyal friend till the very end.
Her family is in our thoughts during this difficult time. Lisa was loved by so many and made a lasting impact on all who knew her, from the children and coworkers at school, to her dear friends and family, and especially to her precious grandchildren. Her legacy and spirit will continue to live on through our cherished memories.
Wishing you peace and comfort.
Sincerely,
Mackenzie and Carly Byrne

Lisa was my right hand from the minute she took over from her sister, Fay, as the Grandview secretary. I was so very blessed to have both of them as members of the Grandview work family first and then as dear friends. Lisa brought her smile, her efficiency, her love of children and her willingness to go above and beyond with her to our office every day. I loved her, depended on her, enjoyed my time with her tremendously, and her loss has left a huge hole in my heart. Sending hugs and prayers to all of her family and friends. I have wonderful memories of Lisa filled with laughter and love to cherish and I know you all do too. ❤️

Lisa was a friend and the secretary at Grandview Elementary when my kids were there. My family was blessed to call her a friend. She took the time to know people. She served the whole school community with passion. She had a zest for life and seemed to appreciate the simple things. To know her is to know how much she cherished her family. She lit up when she spoke of her kids and grandkids…her husband. They meant the world to her. I will be praying for them and her other loved ones. May she RIP.
