Lisa "Momma Lisa" Nelson, an extraordinary woman and beacon of love, departed from this world on January 31, 2023. Born on September 29, 1958, Lisa was a figure of immense warmth, best known for her spunkiness, radiant smile and the invaluable lessons she imparted, the most significant of which was the exhortation to be kind.

Her real achievements, according to her, were not in the trophies she received but in the lives of her children. Her greatest accomplishment was, and will forever be, her children and grandchildren, who meant the world to her and were the source of her greatest pride. This vibrant lady, affectionately known as Lisa, will be remembered always for her boundless love and dedicated nurturing of her family.

She is survived by her loving children; Tina Lewis, Terry Nelson, and Jeremy Scade; siblings Rose Blimka, Betty Steele, Sharon Mitchell, Allen Clark and Don Schade; former spouse, Terry Sr, and devoted son-in-law, Eddie Dale. Each of them carries a piece of Lisa within them, cherishing her memory and continuing her legacy.

The loss of Lisa is deeply felt by all who knew her, but her legacy lives on through her children and grandchildren. In her memory and honor, let us remember to show kindness to one another, as she so fervently believed in. She was, is, and will forever be deeply loved. We will forever miss her warmth, her spirit, and her unforgettable smile.
