Lisa “Pizza” Marie Martin died on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Fairview University Medical Center in Minneapolis. She was 31 years old.

Lisa was born on July 24, 1984 in Minneapolis, MN and resided there most of her life. She loved to laugh and smile a lot. She enjoyed music, spending time with friends, looking at the beautiful things in life and Pow-Wows.

Lisa is preceded in death by her great-grandmother Quay-wa-doog; her grandmother Mu-kully; her father Pat Jones and her aunt Diane Pewaush.

She is survived by her mother Ramona Martin of Onamia, MN; her children Mariyah, Demetri and Alliyanah Feather; her sisters Christina Martin of Hinckley and Shannon Martin; her brothers Brian Martin Sr., of Minneapolis and William Martin of Lake Lena; her nieces and nephews Cameron “Bebe” Martin, Doyle Martin, Serene Martin, Corrina Martin, Shawn Martin, Flower Martin and Brian Martin Jr.; her grandfather Ralph Pewaush of Gaslyn, WI; her aunts and uncles Loretta Sherman, Curtis Martin, Brad Sherman, Lorne Pewaush, Robin Jorgensen, Tony Pewaush; many cousins and other relatives and friends.

Services will begin at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at the Aazhoomog Community Center with Larry Smallwood officiating. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 7:30 P.M. also at Aazhoomog. Casketbearers are Billy Joe Snyder, Greg Snyder, William “Guy” Martin, Richard Martin, Thomas Snyder and Kevin DeFoe Jr. Burial will be at the Stevens Lake Cemetery
