I'm so very sorry Brett on your loss of Lisa. I remember meeting her when you were both walking around the lake when she was quite pregnant with Maddie. I'll always remember that happy image of you three. My heart is broken for you, Maddie and your families and I wish all of you strength and courage as you navigate life going forward without your beloved Lisa. Brett, we are sorry for your loss.  I just can’t imagine your sorrow.  My mom passed when I was 8, and I know it can be a struggle.  Please make your little girl your highest priority… as long as she has you,  it will be good… not great, but good.  Love to you.

Writing this with a really heavy hurt. Lisa was an awesome classmate and our entire USD cohort is blessed to have her in our lives. Lisa was ALWAYS pleasant and a great listener.  Very hard worker. Brett the two of you were the love of her life. May GOD bless and keep you. Sending prayers and my sincere condolences 💐

I write this with a heavy heart as Lisa has gained so much love and respect from her inspiration shown around the “Lou” and her vision of helping to establish minority equality in the Greater St Louis Region. Within the shared pictures taken in October are some of the connections Lisa led with the Urban League of St Louis, NAREB/STL Realtors Association and Love the LOU. Lisa and our Team spent two days together visiting these locations as she shared her optimistic outlook of the future and making a positive impact within minority communities. In Lisa’s memory I’ve committed myself to continue building upon her vision with the same passion of improving minority homeownership within our region and abroad. Lisa has touched mine, as well as my wife’s heart due to the love and caring she displayed during the short time I’ve been blessed to know her. Our sympathy goes out to her husband, daughter and family who will always be in our prayers.

I got to know Lisa initially as a vendor for Guild; however, we quickly worked together on several initiatives. She always came to meetings prepared and full of incisive questions.
She was always warm, welcoming, and friendly.
I will certainly miss her but I am thankful I had a chance to get to know her.

Lisa was always happy and balanced from what I saw in her life.  She loved her family very much and was so supportive of Brett that she even came to his 6am class! Love, hugs and prayers.
