Lisa's obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Lisa Beckner, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Lisa was born on September 24, 1986, and passed away unexpectedly on October 17, 2025.

Lisa is survived by her loving mother Cindy Beckner, her father Ben Beckner, her cherished son Blaze Cooper-Beckner, and her brother Bryan Beckner. She leaves behind her sister-in-law Lola Beckner, and many more family members and friends who loved her dearly. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Virginia and Wilbur Byrd, Sarah and W. Harvey Beckner.

A viewing will be held for Lisa at 8:00 PM on October 25, 2025, at Belle Isle Community Church. This will be followed by a funeral service at 9:00 PM. A reception will follow at 10:00 PM where guests can share their fondest memories and spend time with the family.

Lisa graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 2004. She started working at Dixie Stampede in 2009 and served her community as a Volunteer at Freedom Ride, a non-profit horseback therapy riding organization. In 2019, she welcomed her son Blaze into the world, one of her crowning achievements.

Described as beautiful, brilliant, and talented, Lisa's warm personality and kind heart truly made the world a brighter place. She had an amazing connection with animals, a trait indicative of her nurturing spirit. Her legacy will stand as a testament to her kindness, her loyalty, and her ability to touch the lives of so many people.

One of her greatest lessons was teaching others how to be a loyal friend. This was a reflection of her character, as she was a beloved figure within her community. Her devotion to her son Blaze was evident in everything she did, pouring her love and commitment into providing him with the best life possible.

Remembered as "the best mother ever," to her son Blaze, Lisa's memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew her. Her smile would light up a room, and her love will continue to inspire. She will be greatly missed, but her spirit lives on in the lives she has touched.
