Background
Lisa loved to attend the plays at Sehome High School, where her daughter Kandace is a drama teacher. Lisa came to every play for the last 6 years and sat in the same seat, celebrating the work of the high school students. Lisa always believed in education and the transformative power of art for young people.
We would like to create a fundraiser in her honor to donate to the high school drama program. We're going to put a plaque on her favorite seat, and use the rest of the donations for scholarships for impoverished students to participate in the after-school drama program.
Lisa's sudden passing has also created a financial burden on Lisa's children, Kandace and Kevin, so a small percentage of the donations will be used to offset memorial and travel costs while the estate is settled in the legal system. Contribute
