I loved being Lisa’s boss—though, truthfully, no one was ever really Lisa’s boss except her granddaughter. I’ll always remember her stopping by my office every other week, opening with, “I’m sorry,” which usually meant she’d managed to upset someone—often for the right reasons.
I’d help talk her down and reassure her that I’d handle any calls or emails from clients. The truth is, 99% of the time she was absolutely right in her “course correction.” As she liked to say, “I just can’t be bothered to sugarcoat anything.”
I appreciated her immensely and cherished the time we spent swapping stories about our grandkids. She will be deeply missed.

I worked with Lisa, but I was lucky enough to be one of those in her inner circle. After my late husband passed, she supported me like no other. We would have some great conversations. She was always so thoughtful when someone at work was going through a tough time or wanting to help with a party for someone retiring. My thoughts are with the family.

My condolences to Lisa's Family. I worked with her at TXST, we shared many laughs and stories. As the photos shows, she loved her granddaughter. I pray for strength over her family in this time of grieving.
