Lisa was my Best Friend of 30+ years.  I met her working at the Holiday Inn, Elyria where she taught me Night Audit and Accounting.  We also worked together at the Holiday Inn, Downtown Cleveland and the Holiday Inn, Airport.  Like Doctor Who (her secret indulgence); she was my Traveling Companion.  We drove across the country on Route 66 to see her mom in Las Cruces, New Mexico.  Most of the time;  I steered from the passenger seat while she dozed at the wheel.  I couldn't drive a stick shift.  We broke down in Texas when her brakes literally caught on fire.  She stopped in a natural gas storage facility.  Her sister, Laura, came from another state to save us.   Thanks to Laura, we made it the rest of the way and seen and experienced many sites this country has to offer.  We took a few trips to Las Vegas.  One trip was for her birthday to see Tim McGraw who was her favorite country artist.  I got tickets four rows from the stage at Mandalay Bay.  Basically, starring at his behind the entire time.  We also visited her daughter Dee Dee and family in Atlanta, Georgia.  We drove to:   Niagra Falls 2 times for the casinos and around Lake Erie into Canada 3 times.  Once in a stolen car and never got caught.  Long story.  We also loved Toronto.  She also had friends in the Elyria Police Department that rode motorcycles.  She had wished to own one of the many we seen at auto shows.  Our trips to Cedar Point;  I got her to ride many rides she said she would never try.    No matter where we were;  she ALWAYS had to have her KFC fried chicken, Diet Pepsi and chocolate or fudge.  We were roommates on and off through the years.  Aside from my mom; she was the only other woman to make me cry.  The Bonus to our friendship was knowing what being married was like but, without all the married stuff. Until we meet again in the next life; Rest In Peace, Dear Friend.  You will be truly Missed.
