Linsel's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Linsel Clarke on March 3, 2024. Born in St. Ann Parish, Jamaica in 1954, Linsel lived a full and vibrant life. His legacy of always showing up for his family and friends will not be forgotten.
Linsel is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Millicent Clarke, and his devoted daughters, Dr. Claudia Clarke-Friend, Kadian Clarke, J.D., and Shanice Clarke. He is also survived by his cherished granddaughter, Tegan Friend, and his daughter-in-law, Heidi Friend. Linsel's memory is likewise held dear by his siblings Elizabeth Redley, Lillian Redley, and Vivian Lobo, and his brothers Astley Miller and Lincoln Redley. His nieces, Shardae and Michelle, along with his nephews, Jordan and Zachary, also survive him.
Linsel's survivors also include his sister-in-law, Cheryl. His cousins, Elexcy and Lallie also remember him fondly. He was predeceased by his mother, Lyndel Redley, his sister Janet Redley, Esq., and his aunt, Leslyn Barrett.
Linsel was known his love of Bob Marley and Beres Hammond's music, his fervor for Boston sports, and his playful competitiveness in dominoes. Linsel won the largest pool over 50 times in his deep sea fishing career, and had a passion for organic gardening.
Linsel Clarke was more than a list of survivors and accomplishments. His warm spirit, loyal heart, and dedication to friends and family are his true legacy. We remember him not only for what he did but for the wonderful person he was. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
