Linit's obituary
Linit Bearden, a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend passed away on May 25, 2024, at the age of 63 in her hometown of Mesa, Arizona. She was born on October 14, 1960, and spent almost her entire life in Mesa.
Linit was a woman of many passions. She found joy in cooking delicious meals for her loved ones, belting out tunes during karaoke nights, and indulging in some retail therapy through her favorite shopping avenue, QVC.
However, above all else, Linit treasured her family. From a young age, she knew that her greatest desire was to become a mother. When asked about her aspirations, she would confidently respond, "I want to be a mom." As time went on, Linit's love expanded to encompass the role of a grandmother as well.
Professionally, Linit dedicated 28 years of her life to the Mesa Public Schools, predominantly serving as an educational assistant in the special ed department. Her commitment to the students and her unwavering patience touched the lives of many.
Linit is survived by her father, Gene, her stepmother, Sandy, and her sister, Danyelle. She is also mourned by her children, Gena, Jimmy, and Jamie, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Dustin, Maya, and Luke.
Loved for her generous spirit, patient demeanor, and kind heart, Linit Bearden will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace, forever remembered for the love she shared and the impact she made in the lives she touched.
