Linden's obituary

Linden Edward Griffee 74, passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, March 4, 2022. He was born November 17, 1947 in Texas City, TX to Gus and Edith Griffee. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Katie; their children Melissa, Scott (Andrea), and Karie; his grandchildren Micaiah, Sora, Sage, Cali, and Neeko; great-grandchildren Noah and Ezra; his sister Barbara Plasek; sister-in-law Melanie Hinton; niece and nephews Drew, Taylor, Derrick, and Kyle; and many great nieces and nephews.

Linden grew up in Texas City, TX. He graduated from Texas City High School in 1966. Their class just got together for their 55th Class Reunion. He played football and was a Life Guard at the Texas City swimming pool during the summers.  After high school he went off to Stephen F. Autstin to earn a degree in business.

Linden was a successful businessman who worked in the Albuquerque area for most of his life. After retiring, he began touring and competing with his 1931 Model A and 1979 Corvette. His cars brought him joy and pride, but the friendships made from them were the most important to him. Linden enjoyed traveling with friends and working around the house. He was full of life and was always on the go.
